Influential Work
Renewed an Australian Government agency’s strategy, and supported its implementation through an organisational restructure, facilitation of business planning, and identification of enterprise strategic risks and mitigations
Developed the inaugural performance measures for a newly formed Australian Government statutory authority for reporting in their Corporate Plan and Annual Reports
Supported the rapid setup of the branch of an Australian Government department, designed to coordinate and integrate a complex and ambitious reform agenda, by defining reform scope and enabling detailed tracking and reporting
Evaluated an Australian Government department’s graduate and entry-level programs, leading to recommendations for more aligned implementation with improved strategic decision-making
Project-managed and partnered with an Australian Government department to undertake a nationwide consultation as part of creating a national plan to develop Australia’s sustainable ocean economy
Outside of Nous
Nick holds a Master of International Relations from the Australian National University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tasmania.
Prior to joining Nous, Nick worked in research administration and government relations at the ANU and led multiple sports and youth-focused organisations.

Nick enjoys being active through social sports, hiking and skiing. He is a keen reader and can often be found learning a language or planning his next trip abroad.
