Nicholas has had a range of experiences across many different sectors and sized businesses.
He has worked at at some of the largest international financial organisations like The Commonwealth Bank and American Express, as well as a small-to-medium technology start-ups. He has experience in accounting and financial analysis, as well as a broad understanding of the operating requirements of many businesses. From his degree in political economy, Nicholas has gained an understanding of economic and social problems that governments and businesses will face in the future.

  • Selected as one of 30 students for the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Bachelor of Accounting Co-Op Scholarship
  • Presided over and contributed to the management of various university societies, including the University of Sydney Philosophy Society and the UTS Squash Club
  • Worked across a range of companies, including managing Australian Prudential Regulation Authority reporting processes at The Commonwealth Bank and redeveloping the monthly finance workflow for American Express
  • Completed the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award, which involved years of volunteering, as well as consistent sporting and co-curricular achievement.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous Nicholas was immersed in a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in political economy and philosophy, at the University of Sydney. Here he was heavily involved in the management of the University of Sydney Philosophy Society, where he organised weekly discussions for around 60 consistent participants. Prior to commencing this degree, Nicholas worked from an international automation software company, Intercom, where he engaged prospective clients to better understand their businesses.

In his spare time...

Nicholas participates in a state sailing competition every Saturday. He also enjoys sketching, cooking, reading and camping.
