Sally is an Organisational Psychologist who delivers person-centred solutions to enhance individual and organisational effectiveness.

She has been deeply involved in projects to improve outcomes for people experiencing domestic and family violence. She combines her analytical approach with an understanding of drivers of human behaviour to design evidence-based and pragmatic solutions. Sally partners with clients across sectors and brings expertise in leader assessment and development; organisational design; people strategy, management and development; and culture transformation. Clients value Sally’s proactive and engaging approach to solving complex challenges.

Influential work

  • Partnered with Australian Government agencies to identify high-potential Executive Level 2 (EL2) staff through a comprehensive leadership assessment process, assessing current and potential leadership capability and readiness for Senior Executive Services (SES) Band 1
  • Delivered training on understanding domestic and family violence (DFV) and intersectionality to frontline staff of a Queensland Government department to support staff to deliver a more empathetic and person-centred response for people experiencing violence
  • Delivered a culture assessment and culture change program for a state policing service, focusing on the organisation’s culture in relation to DFV
  • Reviewed the practices of an organisation working in the DFV prevention sector to support the organisation to promote sustainability of practices and staff resilience
  • Evaluated the effectiveness of a centralised administration approach of a technology initiative focused on the safety of people experiencing domestic and family violence.

Outside of Nous

Outside of Nous, Sally commits time to her other passion – playing the violin. She is the Concertmaster and President of the Brisbane Concert Orchestra, performing throughout the year in Brisbane and South East Queensland.

Sally holds a Master of Organisational Psychology from the University of Queensland, a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours in psychology) from RMIT University, and a Bachelor of Science (psychology) from the University of Melbourne. She is accredited in a range of psychometric assessments; including the Hogan 360 assessment and Hogan personality tools (HPI) (HDS) (MVPI), Saville Wave, Team Management Systems Profile and Genos Emotional Intelligence assessment.

In her spare time...

When not at work or playing the violin, Sally enjoys spending time with her chocolate Labrador, training in the swimming pool, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
