Sarah draws on problem solving, communication and analytical skills to work with clients to drive change.
With a background in biotechnology, she has worked with start-ups, biotechnology firms and not-for-profit organisations. Sarah is pursuing a Master of Biotechnology and is Co-President of 180 Degrees Consulting (The University of Melbourne), where she has led more than 150 students to conduct pro-bono consulting work in health, law, community services, environment and education.

Influential work

  • Developed a pharmaceutical partnership strategy to support market penetration of a new product across the Asia-Pacific for an international genome-sequencing and array-based biotechnology company
  • Developed a collaborative partnership strategy to ensure the sustainability of an international biotechnology company’s innovation pipeline
  • Facilitated more than 10,000 hours of pro bono consulting work for NFPs and social enterprises in Melbourne as Co-President of 180 Degrees Consulting (The University of Melbourne)
  • Organised an industry-sponsored case competition for students across Melbourne to devise a marketing strategy for a Melbourne-based legal access NFP, receiving submissions from more than 100 students.

Outside of Nous

Sarah is currently completing a Master of Biotechnology and holds a Bachelor of Science from The University of Melbourne. She also volunteers as Co-President of 180 Degrees Consulting (The University of Melbourne), leading 150 students across 11 consulting projects from project procurement to delivery, working to extend the positive social impact of NFPs and social enterprises.

Prior to joining Nous, Sarah gained experience working as a consultant at the CSL biotechnology company in the Research and External Innovation team; in the Oncology Market Development team at Illumina; at a Melbourne-based tech start-up; and as a study skills educator and presenter to students across Victoria.

In her spare time...

Sarah enjoys Pilates, swimming, hiking and any activity in the sun or ocean.
