Simonne leads Nous in the safety & security sector, which comprises defence and security, emergency services, justice and police.
She is a trusted project director for complex strategy and policy consulting projects and is passionate about social policy reform across justice and education.

Influential work

  • Led development of a detailed business case for the redevelopment of the Bendigo Law Courts, the headquarter court for the Loddon-Mallee region, securing $152 million in capital funding in the 2019-20 State Budget
  • Led an influential review of judicial support settings for the Supreme Court of Victoria, involving unprecedented one-to-one discussions with over sixty judicial officers
  • Led a major service model review of the Supreme Court of Victoria’s administrative functions to optimise them for judicial officers and external court users
  • Led development of a detailed operating model for Victoria’s Specialist Family Violence Courts, five of which are now in place
  • Led a complex strategy and governance review for an Australian university’s council to help shape a new strategic direction for the university.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Simonne was a senior ministerial adviser for former Victorian Education Minister, Hon Bronwyn Pike MP (2007-2010), and held strategy and policy roles across several Victorian Government departments. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Melbourne and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
