Tim White
Director
Tim is a former senior officer in Australia's national security community and an experienced strategy consultant who partners with the National Intelligence Community, law enforcement, Defence and the broader public sector to solve their biggest problems.
He works with clients to solve complex risk management and policy challenges for governments and organisations and brings outstanding communication skills, a collaborative engagement approach, and deep change management expertise.
Influential work
- Led an extensive, multi-year organisational change management program for the Department of Defence, developing an industry-leading change management methodology and creating a Change Impact Readiness Assessment PowerBI dashboard for analysing and communicating the change readiness of stakeholders across different sites
- Managed a comprehensive training needs analysis for Australian law enforcement to combat cybercrime, including extensive consultations with every policing agency in Australia, successfully defining what capability and training police need to better combat technology-enabled crime
- Partnered with a National Intelligence Community agency to design a multiclassification workforce framework to attract and retain staff, which included job segmentation and job design, developing L&D pathways, putting in place change management processes, and designing a detailed implementation plan designed
- Contributed to the development of a modern, international best-practice police services model for an Australian police service and led the development of a successful business case to implement the model
Outside of Nous
Prior to joining Nous, Tim had an outstanding career in Australia's national security community, working across Australia and overseas, including a posting as Senior Liaison Officer at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta. He has extensive experience delivering solutions to complex challenges, particularly at the intersection between the operational and the strategic.

Tim enjoys skiing and hiking at Thredbo, playing golf at Federal Golf Club, supporting the ACT Brumbies and Canberra Raiders and, most of all, spending time with his daughter.
