Tom is a Graduate Consultant in Nous’ Canberra office.

He has experience studying finance, interning at his university (the Australian National University) and working for CSIRO and HI-COM, a translation and copywriting firm.

Influential work

Analysed and delineated the business model of CSIRO, one of the largest scientific and industrial research organisations, to develop an improved corporate strategy
Recommended process improvements to allow CSIRO to compete internationally more efficiently
Discovered opportunities for HI-COM to enter the Australian translation and copywriting market by using secondary research analyses and provide insights on how customers’ needs and habits are changing
Identified trends and opportunities based on market analysis that could help overcome current challenges and grow HI-COM.

Outside of Nous

Before joining Nous Tom studied a Bachelor of Finance (capital markets at the Australian National University (ANU). Here he was a Donor Relations Intern in the university office, assisting the donor relations managers to develop protocols and new platforms to develop engagement strategies for ANU students to thank donors. He was nominated for the award of Intern of the Year.
