Steph has experience in leadership; behavioural change; and equity, diversity and inclusion; gained through roles across consulting, diplomacy and psychology studies.
She works with clients to think differently and lead boldly through major organisational change and shifting global trends. She is a qualified Australian lawyer and is training as a therapist. Steph brings an analytical approach, energy and willingness to challenge with empathy.

Influential work

  • Managed a bespoke year-long leadership program for a senior leadership team that is equipping a UK Government agency to lead through major change
  • Coached a senior leadership team in a UK Government agency to apply futures methodologies to test the resilience of a long-term strategy against possible future disruption
  • Conducted an equity, diversity and inclusion review of a school in University College of London, including by running sensitive consultations and developing recommendations that have been strongly endorsed by the leadership and led to concrete actions to enact cultural change
  • Drafted a strategy underpinning the Australian Government’s A$500 million support for Southeast Asia’s recovery from COVID-19’s health, economic and security implications.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Steph worked in KPMG’s public sector consulting practice. She has served in several Australian Government positions, working to build relations with Southeast Asian nations and big technology companies. Most recently, she worked for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Steph is passionate about community and its role in promoting mental health and resilience. She has volunteered for a range of community legal centres and a not-for-profit education organisation.

Steph enjoys boxing for the endorphins, travelling to experience new cultures, and immersing herself in a good book.
