As part of our commitment to delivering positive influence and supporting equitable community prosperity, we offer subsidised consulting services to not-for-profit and community organisations for projects that contribute to positive social, cultural, economic or environmental outcomes.
Over the years, we have proudly partnered with more than 120 organisations and provided more than $7 million in subsidised consulting services through our Community Partnership Scheme (CPS).
To create shared investment in the success of the project and drive better, more sustainable outcomes, the CPS operates on a partnership approach whereby Nous and the client co-contribute towards the cost of the project.
Suitable consulting projects draw on our expertise in strategic planning, service design, program evaluation, market assessment, workforce planning and partnership development to support the client to increase their impact. Applications are assessed on criteria including the project’s alignment to Nous’ purpose of delivering positive influence that significantly improves people’s lives.
Applications for the spring 2024 round are now closed. Applications for the next round of the CPS will open in the first half of 2025.
We assess all eligible applications based on the CPS criteria. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a video conference interview to further explore their needs and how we can offer value.
CPS eligibility criteria
Projects outside the scope include: direct delivery of fundraising events; capital equipment grants and motor vehicles; purchase of land or buildings; refurbishment, renovation and fit-out; core operating costs; activities which collect funds for redistribution; overseas appeals; expeditions or overseas travel; sponsorships, including sponsorships of conferences, events and festivals.
We are streamlining the CPS application process in 2025. Rather than running a spring and autumn round each year, we run one combined annual round which will launch in the first half of 2025. Successful applicants will then have 12 months, rather than six, to commence their projects.
