NDIS Minister The Hon. Bill Shorten has delivered a keynote speech on the future of the National Disability Insurance Scheme at a CEDA event sponsored by Nous Group.

Minister Shorten delivered the address at a lunch in Melbourne on 13 December, just days after the release of a major review of the NDIS. The minister discussed the review’s findings, implications for the sector and implementation of the recommendations.

Facilitating a discussion with Mr Shorten after his address was Dr Paul Eleftheriou, a Principal at Nous Group based in Melbourne. Also speaking at the event was Drew Beswick, the CEO at Possability.

A video of the event is available here:

Nous Group was proud to be a sponsor of the CEDA event.

Ahead of the event, Nous Principals Mhairi Cowden, Claire McCullagh and Geoff Sjollema shared their insights on the disability support system: “The complexity of the disability system is here to stay. We need to get better at helping people navigate it.”
