Benedict draws upon his academic background in International Business and experience founding a start-up to creatively understand problems and communicate solutions that promote innovative and sustainable outcomes.
He won the 2023 Melbourne Business School postgraduate case competition, synthesising the team's problem statement and devised solutions to improve visitation numbers and attract new teachers to the Australian Centre for Rare Arts and Forgotten Trades.

Orchestrated business operations for 50+ emissions reduction sales, adapting contracts, gathering and assessing compliance documents, invoicing, and reflecting each sale in an internal registry
Provided advice for an international blue carbon feasibility project, devising the agreement governing the project terms, deliverables, and timelines
Worked in a cross-cultural intern team to assess Linfox Vietnam's truck fleet emissions, developing a roadmap for an emissions reporting and reduction regime

Benedict recently graduated from the University of Melbourne with high distinction, earning dean's list honours along the way. During his studies, Benedict helped to found the environmental consulting start-up, 'Climate Action Company' and also worked part-time at a local bike shop.
In his spare time...
Benedict loves fishing, cycling, and adventuring in his native New Zealand. When Benedict isn't outside, he enjoys a good book and watching sports with friends and family.
