Callum previously worked at the Shire of Derby-West Kimberley, where he provided expert advice to enhance its risk, governance and compliance framework. He also gained experience at various think-tanks and governmental organisations, focusing on international affairs, democracy and elections, and human rights.
Beyond Australia, Callum has studied in Spain, New Zealand, Indonesia, and China, receiving various scholarships to support these educational experiences.
Callum has been recognised with several awards for academic excellence, including the Law School Prize for Indigenous Peoples and the Law (highest grade in subject) and the Gordon S. Reid Prize in Parliamentary Politics (highest grade in subject).
Callum loves travelling internationally and experiencing different cultures. He is also an avid reader of politics, history and classical literature.
