With experience across diverse sectors, including education, human services and financial services across the Indo-Pacific region, she brings strong project management capabilities, commercial acumen and critical thinking to navigate complex problems. Passionate about driving meaningful impact, Candice builds trusted relationships that celebrate diverse perspectives, fostering collaboration to deliver lasting, people-centred solutions.

Influential work

  • Managed delivery of a human-centred co-design process grounded in a human rights framework to develop a four-year project for improving inclusive education access and quality for deaf children across the Pacific
  • Supported the completion of junior secondary school core curriculum development for Vanuatu, managing contracting and procurement to enable seamless and sustainable curriculum rollout
  • Established an education ICT Working Group for the Government of Tuvalu and initiated development of a strategic education ICT policy, strengthening capacity of the education department to enhance education service delivery and learning outcomes
  • Analysed workforce trends to inform a strategic education workforce review of the Government of Tuvalu, facilitating improved strategic workforce planning and development
  • Strengthened local leadership across multiple international projects to support sustainable development outcomes

Outside of Nous

As an international development project manager, Candice managed the delivery of education programs across the Pacific, driving commercial results, client value and inclusive and equitable development priorities. During this time, she also supported development of large tender responses to secure Asia Pacific regional programs across diverse sectors including education, defence and human security, and gender equality, disability and social inclusion.

Prior to this, Candice began her career in business services and audit where she built strong business and financial acumen through supporting compliance, reporting and strategic business advisory. Candice holds Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation from the University of Technology Sydney (with distinction), equipping her with a unique blend of skills in business and creativity.

Candice enjoys adventuring with friends and family, exploring new places at home and abroad through camping, hiking and photography, and loves baking and sewing.
