- Developed a commercial negotiation strategy for a large Australian Government department to assist in the remediation and handover of Jabiru township to First Nations Traditional Owners
- Evaluated a critical COVID-19 testing program rolled out in remote First Nations communities
- Evaluated the efficacy of an innovative, multi-year pilot program designed to improve risk identification and response for litigants in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia
- Supported the development of Queensland’s Roadmap for Residential Care, synthesisising a wide range of inputs to support the delivery of a roadmap that will reshape the residential care sector
- Currently evaluating a national program supporting First Nations business owners to start and grow their businesses
Outside of Nous
Prior to Nous, Colin worked in a boutique digital consulting firm in Canberra, delivering tailored ICT outcomes across the public sector. He has also gained experience as a volunteer at community legal centres, including as a volunteer paralegal with the Youth Law Centre. During his time at university, he lived and worked at a residential college as a Community Coordinator, striving to enhance the student experience of its 500-plus undergraduate residents.
Colin holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from the Australian National University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. He is a Certified Professional in Agile Project and Delivery Management (ICP-APM).
In his spare time...
Colin loves all things sport and spends most of his free time running around Sydney’s suburbs. He has recently started to dive into the world of solving cryptic crosswords.
