Before joining Nous, Ellen was a parliamentary assistant at the Department of the House of Representatives and Australian Foreign Policy Fellow at Young Australians in International Affairs, giving her an in-depth understanding of Australian policy and government. She also spent time working with the Canberra Hospital genetic counselling unit, strengthening her interest in health and genomics.
She holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of International Security Studies from the Australian National University and is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Biotechnology through the University of Queensland.
Ellen lives an active lifestyle and loves to spend time outdoors. You’ll probably find her hiking, camping, running or riding her motorbike.
