Holly is a registered psychologist with a passion for helping create meaningful work experiences for clients.
With a Masters in Organisational Psychology and years of experience as a HR generalist, she has a deep understanding of the complexities and interdependencies that organisations face and is keen to ensure that the solutions she presents are pragmatic. A people person, she enjoys collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver person-centred, fit-for-purpose solutions.

Influential work

  • Conducted interviews and qualitative analysis with psychosocial regulators across Australia to understand differing service delivery models and their perceived effectiveness, providing recommendations on the design of the regulator in Queensland to meet the growing demand of psychosocial cases
  • Managed the rollout of an employee engagement survey in the higher education sector, building a Qualtrics dashboard, developing communications plans, engaging more than 10,000 employees, and managing stakeholder engagement, data analysis and data interpretation support for leaders
  • Reviewed recruitment and retention initiatives to address challenges for healthcare workers in North Queensland to identify new opportunities for a sustainable workforce
  • Delivered a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion roadmap in the higher education sector to address concerns of lack of inclusivity
  • Gathered a deep understanding of psychosocial hazards and the responsibilities of duty holders to manage psychosocial risk and assess effective controls while on placement with the Psychological Health Unit at Work Health & Safety Queensland

Outside of Nous

Prior to Nous, Holly worked as a HR generalist in the construction industry, working on large infrastructure projects across recruitment, learning and development, industrial relations, performance management, and graduate programs. She also worked in organisational development in a G08 university, where she was primarily responsible for managing the employee engagement survey. During her Masters, Holly completed placements focusing on diversity and inclusion in the education sector, psychosocial hazards in the Queensland government, and organisational development within the insurance industry.

In her spare time...

Outside of work, you will find Holly in a pilates studio, out for dinner with friends, and continuing her quest to find the best coffee in Brisbane.
