- Managed multiple projects with a small federal agency to support culture change and leadership development following a challenging period for the agency which was reflected through Census results
- Supported one of Australia’s largest NFPs with organisational redesign, culture change and leadership development, providing a significant shift to enable them to better deliver on their ambitious strategy
- Helped a New Zealand based university review its professional and academic divisions’ structure and operating model to provide recommendations for the university to better align with its strategic objectives
- Managed a five-year (five cohorts) evaluation of the Social Impact Leadership Australia (SILA) program for CEOs of for-purpose organisations to help create positive social sector outcomes
- Designed and delivered a comprehensive leadership assessment and development program tailored to four leadership levels in an Australian parliamentary department
Outside of Nous
He continues to support 180 Degrees Consulting (180DC) branches across NSW, where he once volunteered, by mentoring current teams to push their thinking and drive meaningful change. 180DC provides pro-bono consulting support to charities and not-for-profit organisations to help increase their social impact across a range of areas including early childhood education, disability support, Indigenous employment, mental health and environmental sustainability.
James holds a Bachelor of Business Leadership and Commerce (international business) from Macquarie University and has completed the Level 3: Advanced Leadership course at The Council Leadership Academy.
In his spare time...
James is passionate about sports, playing three types of sports and following more than five. He is also a food enthusiast and on a mission to try all of Sydney’s burger joints.
