Outside of Nous
Before joining Nous, James spent nine months working and studying in India as a 2023 New Colombo Plan scholar, and has international experience working at the Mumbai office of Investment New South Wales. He has professional experience working at Ernst & Young in their Strategy and Transactions service line, and William Buck in their Business Advisory team. He has extensive experience working the disability sector as a support worker under the NDIS, and as a volunteer for Flying Fox. He has also completed an internship at Variety Victoria, where he implemented a digital volunteer management platform for the charity.
While studying at Monash University, James volunteered his time at Monash SEED as their President, and also as a Project Team Leader for 180 Degrees consulting, where he provided pro-bono consulting services to not-for-profit clients.
In his spare time...
In his spare time, James enjoys practicing his Hindi by watching a good Bollywood film, playing ultimate frisbee, or experimenting with biomaterials.
