Jess is a consultant with a passion for combining analytics and communication, particularly within the energy and environmental sectors.
Having graduated with a degree in Advanced Science, she has a strong analytical background that is bolstered by her experience in a wide range of sectors, including sustainable planning, sales, and research. Jess has completed extensive work in the field of renewable fuels, with a focus on strategic planning, research and deployment feasibility for new carbon-free fuel technologies.
Influential work
- Worked to assess the feasibility of producing green ammonia on farms in Australia, conducting field interviews and site assessments for numerous growers to develop a stakeholder-focused solution for deployment
- Provided evidence-based recommendations for improving the usability and ecology of an under-utilised space on campus, which were incorporated into future plans for the campus as part of Monash’s Nature+ initiative
- Worked within research labs at Monash and Leipzig Universities to improve materials for fuel cell production, applying strong research and analytical skills
Outside of Nous
Jess has completed a number of internships in various sectors, including urban planning, research and consulting fields. Most notably, she has been significantly involved in the research and deployment of new sustainable technologies, accelerating adoption of green hydrogen and ammonia. She has conducted research in Australia and Germany.
Jess holds a Bachelor of Science Advanced (Honours) from Monash University. She graduated with first-class honours in 2024.
In her spare time...
Jess loves to play sport, and manages her own social netball team amongst friends. You can also find her on her bike around town, reading, camping and spending time with friends.
