Jess Robinson

Jess brings passion and a people-centric approach to her work, while using her emergency service and volunteer background to solve organisational challenges.
Her experience in not-for-profits, education and corporates gives her broad understanding of diverse organisations which assists in finding the best solution that is tailored towards their needs. She is passionate about people and organisational structure and ensuring optimal alignment.

Influential work

  • Implemented a new volunteer management process at Point Lonsdale Surf Life Saving to facilitate improved member contribution, delivering both increased efficiency for the club and enhanced member engagement
  • Drove the statewide expansion of Lifesaving Victoria ‘Pink Patrol’ focusing on acknowledging contribution of women in the lifesaving movement

Outside of Nous

Jess holds a range of volunteer roles within lifesaving, currently serving as Club Captain of Point Lonsdale SLSC. At Life Saving Victoria, she sits on the Honours and Awards Committee, Women in Lifesaving Panel and Membership and Leadership Development – Youth Program Panel.

Jess has previously spent a year working in the Human Resources team at Pitcher Partners and prior to that working in the Security and COVID-19 response team at Methodist Ladies College.

In 2019 Jess was awarded Queenscliffe’s Young Citizen of the Year award as well as Life Saving Victoria’s Westpac Youth Lifesaver of the Year.

In her spare time...

Outside of Nous, Jess plays in a social netball team and enjoys her regular Pilates classes. You’ll find her at the beach most weekends, either enjoying the sun or in lifesaving uniform.
