Influential work
Led a project where a state-wide sporting organisation aimed to increase participation and net promoter score from non-active members of their community
Led a project where a non-profit organisation was restructuring its hiring structure to provide work to people living in public housing, aiming to increase workforce participation for people who have suffered hardships
Developed a cost-recovery platform to help project managers and team leaders at the National Australia Bank identify cost-leakages within their operations as well as potential remedies to recover costs for the rest of the project lifecycle
Prepared and presented a proposal to Guildfords Business Consultants’ largest international insurance client, which the company ultimately won
Developed a mentoring program designed to provide first-year university students with an understanding of career options in the Bachelor of Commerce, as well as a youth leadership program designed to increase students’ soft skill capabilities
Outside of Nous
Joe holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Diploma of Languages in Chinese from the University of Melbourne. He was previously a business analyst for the National Australia Bank, where he worked on internal strategy, operations and cost-recovery for their Corporate and Institutional Banking sector. During this time he developed a system that was able to identify cost-leakages as well as suggest remedies for team leaders and project managers.
In his spare time...
Joe recently returned to Australia after a year studying Chinese in Taiwan and travelling East and South-East Asia. Outside of work, you’ll likely see him running or cycling along the Maribyrnong River, or listening to hardstyle at the gym.
