Kate brings a proven track record in supporting projects for co-design methodologies with diverse stakeholders and supporting government projects.
She has extensive experience in project coordination, quality assurance over deliverables and high-level executive support. Kate is reliable, motivated, and always ready for a challenge.

Influential work

  • Supported the Nous and the National Office for Child Safety project teams with the development of resources for the Minimum Practice Standards, liaising with more than 50 stakeholders to partake in various co-design virtual workshops, one-on-one interviews and focus group meetings to assist in developing the 17+ tools and resources for service providers (the project won a 2025 Australian Good Design Award)
  • Currently acting as learning coordinator for a multi-year Leadership Development program for a large central government department, coordinating 200+ participants each year by providing high-level administrative and logistical support and liaising with high-level executives across the Australian Public Service
  • Worked with a local Victorian council to engage with a community panel for their upcoming 5-year plan, engaging with 60+ community members to understand if they wanted to take part in the community panel 
  • Provided fast-paced and efficient logistical and administrative support for an ACT central agency to understand Time and Attendance, managing 20+ workshops, with stakeholders of all backgrounds, to ensure the project team could engage with and gain insight into their T&A practices
  • Currently provides high-level executive support to three Nous Principals and Directors in the areas of Human Centred Design, Organisational Strategy, and Sustainable Development

Outside of Nous

Prior to Nous, Kate worked in finance, health and tourism. Across all three industries, her top priority was excellent customer service, leading to her being named Trainee of the Year in 2016 at Dreamworld. Kate has experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing, expense reconciliation and end-of-month reporting for company executives. No stranger to adaptability and with a strong interest in learning, Kate has made these roles her own. 

Kate holds a Bachelor of Entertainment Industries from Queensland University of Technology. 

In her spare time...

Kate enjoys exploring NSW with her fiancé and two Labrador dogs. She loves to read, travel, and do reformer pilates.
