Kieran completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Western Australia, majoring in economics, political science and international relations. At university he was a member of West Australian University Consultants, a student-run organisation that provides consulting services for not-for-profit organisations. Kieran was both a consultant and a project lead during his time at WAUC.

Kieran enjoys playing with his social cricket team during the summer. He has also recently taken up running and is training for a marathon.
