Kimon combines a quantitative background with strong communication skills to provide robust analysis for clients.
He has experience in the public sector, including public policy strategy and implementation, as well as econometric modelling skills.

Influential work

  • Completed original statistical research on the effectiveness of Australian maternity leave as part of his Honours program at the Australian National University
  • Consulted on the Housing Australia Future Fund policy during his time at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, drafting policy recommendations for improving efficacy
  • Reviewed competition policy settings for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, informing thinking on future considerations for competition policy aims and implementation
  • Helped connect representatives from numerous Australian Government departments to discuss and plan housing policy initiatives.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Kimon worked at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet in the Economic Policy Branch.

He holds a Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Mathematics) from the Australian National University. He was the Treasurer of the ANU Interhall Committee, and a Community Coordinator at UniLodge Australia.

Kimon also completed an internship at the ACT Chief Minister’s Office in Canberra.

In his spare time, Kimon enjoys painting, watching sports and going to the gym.
