  • Worked with both universities and university pathway providers to review their strategy aiming to increase student diversity at UK universities
  • Analysed entries from a 15,000+ response survey regarding school curriculum changes for the UK government
  • Wrote a dissertation on the influence of slavery on contemporary Jamaican culture
  • Spent two weeks in Thailand teaching English to Thai children of various ages from different regions
  • Raised £400 for the charity Hope For Tomorrow by completing a skydive

     

Outside of Nous

Kira enjoys travelling and gaining exposure to different cultures to learn from them and appreciate different ways of life. She has had previous experience in banks and consulting, working in various teams on small group projects during the period. She was awarded Humanitarian of the Year at her sixth form for all the charitable work she completed as a student. She has continued to support charitable initiatives and hopes to get involved with future challenges both in the workplace as well as external opportunities.

In her spare time...

Kira enjoys baking, anything from brownies to cookies to cupcakes, and spending time with her family. She is eager to travel more as she loves to explore.
