Louise is an experienced strategy and public policy consultant who is passionate about creating positive societal impact through her work.
She is a skilled strategic thinker, problem solver, and evaluator with a background in both commercial and public policy consulting. Bringing a warm, human-centred approach to her work, Louise partners with clients to deliver impactful and actionable solutions to their problems. She has worked across the government, medical research, and not-for-profit sectors, most notably on strategy and evaluation projects.

Influential work

  • Designed a strategy for an Australian university to counter its declining enrolments
  • Advised a group of major Australian philanthropists on a funding strategy to support the arts and social services sectors during COVID-19
  • Undertook two national evaluations of Initial Teacher Education (ITE) reforms for the Federal Department of Education, Skills and Training
  • Advised on the development of a funding submission and developed the business plan for a medical research group, resulting in $50m Government funding
  • Redesigned and de-risked reporting processes for an Australian Not-for-Profit, including overseeing development of a new reporting tool

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Louise worked in various consulting roles in Australia and Ireland. She began her career in the People and Culture team in PwC Ireland, before moving to Australia and working as a public policy consultant in a boutique firm. Following this, she spent three years working as a strategy consultant, where she delivered several high-impact projects for clients.

Louise is a Trinity College Gold Medallist and holds a first-class honours degree in Business Studies from the University of Dublin. She is passionate about social equity and justice and sits on the Board of Directors for an International NGO, This Life, which empowers Cambodians to counter social justice issues in their communities.

In her spare time...

Louise loves animals, the outdoors and exercising. When not at the dog park with her golden retriever, Louise can be found running, reading a good book, explaining Irishisms, or enjoying Melbourne’s coffee scene.
