Conducted and validated cost-effectiveness analysis to support adoption of a high-cost therapy in Australian hospitals, stress-testing economic assumptions and translating complex modelling into decision-ready insights for clinicians and hospital decision-makers
Supported development of a cost–benefit case and implementation roadmap for a $30 million transformation of a regional university’s learning and teaching model, modelling growth scenarios and designing a three-year delivery roadmap across 12 workstreams
Developed a digital strategy and phased implementation roadmap for a newly established food safety regulator, aligning multiple legacy agencies to define a digital vision, target architecture and scalable digital foundations
Developed a department-wide knowledge management strategy for a federal agency, diagnosing knowledge flow challenges across 120+ staff and designing a roadmap of 22 initiatives to strengthen decision making and enable safe adoption of AI
Developed a national monitoring and evaluation framework for a government health and safety strategy, working with regulators, industry and unions to define outcomes, targets and indicators enabling measurable progress and coordinated national action
Outside of Nous
Prior to joining Nous, Matthew was an analyst at the Commonwealth Treasury. During his studies, Matthew gained experience at Deloitte and Priority Life (Perpetual), whilst also engaging in a variety of volunteering opportunities, including pro bono consulting.
In his spare time...
Matthew loves staying active through running and playing sport and enjoys watching AFL, tennis and soccer. He also has a passion for reading, movies and travelling, whilst trying to learn Italian.
