With more than 13 years of experience, Nathalie has dedicated herself to understanding, strategizing and innovating education and the broader public sector.
She is known for making the complex simple, being naturally curious, and strategizing her way through problems. Having worked in higher education for over a decade, she brings extensive expertise in international education, enrolment management, strategic planning, and improving core institutional functions. Nathalie leverages design thinking, anchored in a student-centric approach, to push leaders to think more boldly about the future.

Influential work

  • Led the development of a 3-year institutional strategic plan at a Canadian polytechnic, including a refreshed mission, vision, values, strategic areas of focus, and KPIs
  • Developed a 10-year implementation roadmap to support a First Nation reclaim its education jurisdiction, including developing a new governance model, advising on a transformation office structure, and outlining critical activities across administration, operations and capital
  • Led the development of an integrated and multidisciplinary corporate education strategy for staff, learners and physicians of a large research hospital system
  • Evaluated the feasibility of relocating a Canadian institutional campus, assessing the competitive landscape, demand, financial modelling, and implementation activities
  • Assessed the market viability and opportunity for a Canadian polytechnic to open operations internationally, including evaluating key competitors, defining the serviceable addressable market, and framing strategic options aligned to institutional goals

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Nathalie was a Senior Manager in Deloitte's Higher Education Transformation practice and Chief of Staff to the Government and Public Service. Nathalie co-led the development of Deloitte's national survey on post-secondary students and published three annual reports on the state of student centricity in Canada. Nathalie previously worked at the University of Toronto, working across enrolment services, the registrar's office, student life, and international education.

Nathalie is currently serving on the board of Young Women in Business (YWiB), a non-profit focused on support emerging female leaders and young professionals who want to create their own success. She has an MEd in Higher Education Leadership and Policy and Certificate in Comparative, International & Development Education from OISE at the University of Toronto.

In her spare time...

Nathalie enjoys experiencing the world through food, having eaten her way through over 30 countries. She loves playing and watching soccer and baseball, as well as hiking, reading, and watching movies (with a big bowl of popcorn, of course).
