Strengthened partnerships with over 60 organisations across corporate, government and community sectors to facilitate meaningful internship placements for First Nations university students
Conducted a review of criminal cases in Victoria involving the legal element of ‘recklessness’ to support a submission to the Victoria Law Reform Commission for its 2024 Recklessness Report and its recommendations
Provided written advice on complex matters, including cold-case homicide, coronial inquests and family violence offending, supporting prosecutorial decision-making and advancing justice outcomes
Organised and executed a live televised event launching a Joint Resolution in support of a constitutionally enshrined First Nations voice, elevating public awareness on a national scale

Prior to joining Nous, Ruby was the National Partnerships Manager at CareerTrackers. She is also a qualified lawyer (non-practising), having completed her legal traineeship at the Office of Public Prosecutions in Victoria. Ruby holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
