Influential Work

  • Led the integration strategy for a major Australian banking merger, working directly with C-suite executives to bring together varied functions under a single operating model and roadmap, which will deliver over $25 million in savings for the new organisation
  • Shaped national reform of the HELP student loan system by reviewing detailed economic modelling and developing a clear, evidence-based case for change, which will remove over $16 billion in student debt for over 3 million Australian debtors
  • Developed a clinical operating model for a $600M university health investment, providing a clear foundation for service delivery to the community and decision-making for senior leaders
  • Designed and facilitated strategy workshops and division-wide offsites for more than 75 staff to shape the operating model and ways of working for a new energy infrastructure division for a NSW government department
  • Developed a robust cost-benefit analysis to compare strategic investment options for a large non-profit, supporting Board decisions and guiding the design of a new Enterprise Portfolio Management Office

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Shaneil was part of Accenture’s Customer, Sales & Service practice, where he worked in the intersection between digital, marketing and customer experience. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) with a Bachelor of Commerce (international business) from Macquarie University.

During his studies, Shaneil was a Senior Adviser to the Macquarie Business School, where he provided recommendations on administrative processes and student experience. He was also President of 180 Degrees Consulting at Macquarie University and continues to support the organisation’s commitment to positive social impact in a mentoring role.

In his spare time...

Shaneil enjoys travelling and learning about different cultures (especially when it concerns delicious food). He is also passionate about sports, closely following football and Formula One each season.
