Sid Warrier

Sid is a consultant who recently graduated from University of New South Wales (UNSW) with majors in finance, economics and business strategy.
He has worked in consulting across various fields including finance, strategy, organisational change and audit and assurance. Outside of consulting, he has also worked within a technology-based microlearning start-up in a customer-facing role. Sid combines analytical and problem-solving capabilities with interpersonal skills to provide high-value solutions to a wide range of stakeholders.

Influential work

  • Assisted one of Australia’s leading retailers by conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, storyboarding, data visualisation and stakeholder feedback facilitation to test capabilities and improve change methodologies within and end-to-end change toolkit and associated tools
  • Assisted in assessing government entities’ financial stability and performed a current state assessment by analysing revenues, expenses, cash, fixed assets and financial ratios
  • Helped design an environmental, social and governance (ESG) business model that actively addressed and targeted ESG issues – and incorporated design thinking to ideate how digital transformation and technology can be utilised to enable new ESG solutions
  • Conducted industry and market research (as part of a case competition) to prepare a solution to the liquidity crisis experienced by microfinance institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Sid has participated in a range of competitions within and outside university. He was part of the winning team in the KPMG National ESG Ideation Challenge, where his team designed a new ESG Business Model and critically analysed commercialisation opportunities, client considerations, benefits and implementation risks.

Sid was also part of one of the finalist teams within UNSW for the UMCG Microfinance Case Competition, where his team prepared strategies to combat liquidity and loan repayment crises for microfinance institutions during the Covid-19 pandemic. At this university he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Economics.

In his spare time...

Sid enjoys working out, going on hikes, and spending time with his dog. He also loves to travel and has visited 18 countries so far.
