Influential work

  • Evaluated the economic viability of a digital mental health service to assess the future feasibility of the program, engaging with various stakeholders and administered an environmental scan of the digital mental health care space 
  • Assisted with the development of an investment strategy for a philanthropic agency to appropriately allocate funding to help Australia achieve its 2030 decarbonisation goals 
  • Responsible for publishing a discussion paper on state taxation for the ACT Greens, used as evidence to influence policy decisions in the ACT Legislative Assembly 

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Sophia was an assurance associate at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and economic policy intern at the ACT Legislative Assembly. This is where she developed a passion for public policy and begun to appreciate the force of economics on the business world. She developed leadership and accounting skills in her role as Vice President (Finance) at John XXIII College. 

In her spare time...

Sophia enjoys sports such as hockey, hiking and bouldering. She recently returned from living in Berlin and Austria, where she learnt to speak German, and completed a work/ski holiday.
