He has extensive experience leading complex data analytics projects for public and private sector clients across a range of sectors, with a particular specialisation in statistical modelling for program evaluation and higher education analytics. Trent is a published academic author and statistical software developer with over five years’ experience as the lead researcher and statistician on projects.
Before joining Nous, Trent was an associate at Grant Thornton Consulting, a statistician and researcher at The University of Queensland and Griffith University, and an intern at Boeing Defence Australia. Trent is an ongoing regular collaborator with researchers at the Queensland Brain Institute as a statistician for projects involving analysis of fMRI data.
Trent is currently completing his PhD in computational statistics where he is focusing on developing and applying open-source time-series statistics software. He already holds a Master of Organisational Psychology from Griffith University and a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) from The University of Queensland.
Trent can be found running his open data science website Orbisant Analytics, being a Dungeon Master for his D&D campaigns and writing music for his metal band The Archon Rift.
