Trish has more than 20 years of experience in management of human services for state and federal governments, including complex reform, strategy and operations.
She led development and delivery of 10-year reform programs in housing, homelessness and sport in the Queensland Government. Trish is committed to transformation that delivers better human services for vulnerable Australians. She has worked in public sector leadership roles to deliver frontline services, improve commissioning and design better system-wide responses in mental health, aged care and education.
Influential work
- Led the development and delivery of 10-year Queensland Government strategies for housing and sport, including securing record investments for housing and homelessness
- Delivered a significant capital delivery program for social housing through reformed business processes, including exceeding published targets and developing partnerships with the non-government sector
- Led the development of a department-wide channel strategy for the management of government payments and services
- Led a process of significant organisational change to establish a centre of excellence in grants management for social services.
Outside of Nous
Prior to Nous, Trish was a Deputy Director-General in the Queensland Public Service and had senior roles in the Australian Departments of Human Services, Social Services and Prime Minister and Cabinet. Trish has worked across human services agencies and with the non-government sector to improve frontline services and programs in housing, education, childcare and health.
In her spare time...
Trish enjoys keeping fit with her family, including her partner, two sons, daughter and two very active Jack Russell dogs. She also has an impressive collection of pink gear.
