She is an organised and experienced team leader, having served as Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity Officer on her university’s A Cappella Committee. A resilient team player and adept communicator, her focus on people and relationships helps her build trust and deliver tailored, impactful solutions, as she brings strategic insight and emotional intelligence to every situation.
Influential work
- Raised £5000 and spent a month in Swaziland, South Africa, and Mozambique helping local communities and completing environmental conservation projects, building toilets, renovating classrooms, and becoming acquainted with the people in the local area
- Tutored for more than eight years, tailoring feedback and constructing lesson plans for young students in both mathematics and English, resulting in their passing the 11+ exams
- Mentored young students through school and university
- Served as the EDI Officer on her university’s A Cappella Committee, organised multiple social events for the wider society, and ensured a safe space for individuals from diverse backgrounds
Outside of Nous
Yimika has performed in numerous musical performances and competitions, including the Jack Petchy Pitch Perfect award and the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. She has been awarded a Level 2 qualification in Digital Marketing and a certificate in coding from the Bright Network Technology Academy. She has also undertaken internships in investment consulting, real estate, and banking.

Yimika has a love of theatre and literary fiction, alongside a passion for baking and sampling new foods. As an enthusiastic traveller, she recently marked her first visit to Asia.
