Nous Group is pleased to announce that data collection has commenced on the 2025 Nous Group Higher Education COO Study.
Now in its third iteration, the study takes a deep dive into the insights, priorities, and experiences of COOs and their equivalents at universities across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the US, the UK, and Ireland.
First published in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the study has gone on to chart the emergence of a new breed of data-driven COO, who has evolved to become a true strategic partner to the university executive. The 2025 study will build on previous years’ findings, exploring critical questions such as:
- How can universities balance their academic mission against financial and workforce pressures?
- What steps are being taken to ensure long-term financial sustainability in the face of uncertainties in the international student market?
- How can universities better tailor and refine their offer in the face of changing student expectations and demands?
We are pleased that the study continues to make such a valuable contribution to conversations within the sector. After growing its reach and impact in 2023, we look forward to an even bigger, broader, and more thought-provoking engagement this time around. To ensure frankness and honesty, responses will once again be anonymised.
We trust that the next instalment of the Nous Group Higher Education COO study will make for compelling reading for global higher education leaders. The study will be released in the first half of 2025.
We invite all university COOs or equivalents to participate in the survey, which will be open until Friday 24 January 2025. For more information, contact [email protected] or [email protected]
