In the lead up to International Women’s Day, Nous has been named as one of Australia’s Best Workplaces for Women™ 2026, by Great Place to Work®.
This recognition acknowledges Nous’s ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and empowering workplace for women across all levels of the organisation.
Tim Orton, Nous Group CEO and Managing Principal, commented: “Being recognised again as a Best Workplace for Women reflects the care and effort embedded in Nous’s organisational culture that supports women to have fulfilling careers. We are committed to this because we understand the immense value that women bring to our positive influence outcomes and clients”.
Nous has several policies and mechanisms in place to support women in the workplace. The Nous Women’s Employee Network plays a leading role in advocating for women at Nous, in partnership with Nous’ functional and organisational leaders. Activities undertaken by the Women’s Network include:
- Connecting women across Nous to provide peer-based opportunities for support and mentoring
- Delivering targeted learning opportunities for women and the wider Nous
- Research and analysis to understand challenges to inclusion and potential solutions
- Hosting events for women across offices to share experiences and learn from one another
Nous has a proud history when it comes to women in leadership roles within the organisation, holding a ratio of close to 50:50 for most of the last decade. On top of this, in 2025 Nous reported industry-leading outcomes in gender pay equality, according to data from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA).
Orton said: “Gender equality is important to us, but we recognise that the experiences of women at work go beyond the numbers. It is deeply rewarding to know that our efforts resonate with our employees, and we look forward to continuing to create an environment where all individuals, including women, can excel both professionally and personally.”
