Sam Abusah, an experienced public policy adviser, has joined Nous as a Principal, strengthening our support for state and territory government clients.

Sam joins our thriving regulatory team in our public policy practice, which includes Principals Claire Noone, Lauren Ware Morand and Mark Schultz.

A trusted policy adviser and economist, Sam has more than 25 years of experience across senior public and private sector roles. He specialises in regulatory design and reform, economic analysis and public policy advice to support clients to deliver on their key agendas. Sam is passionate about public policy, with a focus on business regulation, environment and circular economy policy, and economic productivity agendas.

Sam comes to Nous from PwC, where he was a Director for nine years. He has previously held senior roles at the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance, Australian Treasury, Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet, and WorkSafe Victoria.
