Christine leads Nous’ global higher education strategy and student experience pillar and works extensively with universities, government and industry to deliver evidence-based and pragmatic solutions.
She has led the development of influential education, skills and economic policies, and strategies that support the mission of global universities. She is a founding member of Nous Proud, Nous’ LGBTIQ+ network.
Influential work
Worked with many universities across Australia and New Zealand on their strategic plans, course portfolios, operating models and student experience functions
Led numerous projects with the Federal Government on the Univerisites Accord, the design of the ATEC and the evaluation of the National Microcredentials Framework
Supported development of a research and innovation strategy for a major university, resulting in $30 million government funding for critical research platforms and infrastructure
Led Victorian Government projects to analyse demand for skills and training across Victoria’s industries and to develop and implement contemporary education and training models for the construction sector and the visitor and clean economies, resulting in over $100 million funding for various initiatives
Led analysis of the infrastructure policy, workforce, skills and training needs of regional economies across multiple government projects, involving extensive engagement with regional communities and stakeholders to support regional development
Outside of Nous
Prior to joining Nous, Christine worked across education and health in Australia and the UK. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School and HEC Paris, and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of South Australia.
In her spare time...
Christine is passionate about wine, opera and Melbourne coffee. To offset wine and coffee consumption, she is often found running around the Tan.
