Craig has led major projects for Australia’s largest energy organisations and his work includes business strategy, designing and scaling new ventures, implementing modern operating models, and developing customer-focused growth strategies. Influential work

  • Designed and launched a new venture development capability for a client experiencing a decline in its core business, defining the venture strategy, operating model, and innovation processes; building and leading a 20-person team; and launching two revenue-generating products
  • Designed and piloted a new outsourced strategy and marketing operating model for a business facing capability and budget constraints, delivering a multi-year growth strategy and campaign capability, defined and implemented a future technology roadmap, and enhanced internal capability to ensure long-term sustainability
  • Implemented a quarterly strategy development process, OKR framework, and business review process to help a siloed organisation execute its refreshed enterprise strategy and improve cross-business unit (BU) alignment, driving mindset and behavioural shifts at the executive level, operationalising strategy execution across BUs, and facilitating large-scale planning, leadership coaching, and governance
  • Identified a 10-year growth opportunity in residential renewables and designed an innovative electrification marketplace to connect consumers with tailored clean energy solutions and trusted installers, developing the business model, validated key market drivers, and secured board approval to proceed to the build phase
  • Developed a customer-focused growth strategy for a major ANZ energy company, assessing capability maturity, benchmarking best practices, surveying more than 3,000 customers, and delivering a 10-year roadmap with strong EBIT potential
  • Developed enterprise AI strategies for multiple Australian network organisations, unlocking value across network operations, customer experience and corporate functions, creating roadmaps to scale AI responsibly, secure investment, and accelerate the energy transition
