Health

The challenges facing British healthcare require a dynamic, sustainable, and patient-centred response.

Demographic change, limited budgets, workforce sustainability, and technological integration are all putting pressure on health and aged care providers. We work with all levels of government, not-for-profit organisations, and the private sector to navigate complexity, recognise opportunity, and ultimately improve patient outcomes.

We work with hospitals to help manage demand and build organisational capabilities, partner with researchers and educators to design and evaluate funding programs, and use lived experience-led design to develop and evaluate aged care and mental health services.

Seeking to overcome inequality, enhance sustainability, and prioritise patient-centred experiences, we put people and communities at the heart of what we do.

Our work includes

  • Hospitals and related services

Growing demand and financial constraints mean hospitals and related services need to be more efficient than ever while also seeking to increase quality and improve patient experience. Guided by a philosophy of patient-centred care, we work with hospitals to manage demand, deliver services and enhance integration with community health and primary care services.

  • Primary care

As the UK’s healthcare front line, primary care addresses population health challenges, including mental illness and people living with chronic health conditions. We work with governments and health networks to plan, design and evaluate programmes that complement and support general practice. We also support health networks to build organisational capabilities and capacity.

  • Research and education

Research and education are vital for delivering better treatments and interventions for patients, improving services delivery and achieving outcomes at the clinical and population levels. We have worked with researchers, research and education organisations and funders to design, implement and evaluate research and education funding programmes, activities and translation.
