Nous is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 round of our Community Partnership Scheme (CPS), which offers subsidised consulting services to Australian community and not-for-profit organisations, and social enterprises. Through the program, we partner with organisations working to strengthen communities, improve lives and tackle important social, cultural, economic and environmental challenges.

The CPS is a core commitment for our firm, and one of the many ways that we deliver on our enduring purpose – delivering positive influence that significantly improves people’s lives. It reflects our belief in the importance of a strong and vibrant civil society, and our commitment to using our expertise in ways that contribute to fairer, more inclusive and resilient communities.

Over the past decade, Nous has proudly partnered with more than 150 organisations to deliver impactful CPS projects. These partnerships have supported organisations working with communities across Australia, including people and communities experiencing disadvantage, exclusion or inequity. How does the Community Partnership Program Scheme work?

The CPS enables eligible organisations to propose a project that contributes to positive social, cultural, economic or environmental outcomes. Applications are assessed on a range of criteria, including their alignment with Nous expertise and purpose, the strength and integrity of the proposed approach, and their expected impact. We particularly value opportunities where our expertise can help organisations strengthen outcomes for communities, address inequity or contribute to lasting systemic change.

Successful applicants are required to contribute 40% of the project’s financial value, in order to foster a lasting mutual commitment to the initiative and ensure the projects impact is realised. Nous contributes the remaining 60%, reflecting our shared investment in the project and its intended community impact.

Applications are open from today, Tuesday 1 September 2026, and will close on Sunday 20 September 2026. 

To help prospective applicants understand the program and the types of projects Nous can support, the CPS team will host information sessions on 7 and 16 September.
